These easy baked strawberry doughnuts are topped with a sweet cream cheese glaze and showered with crushed freeze-dried strawberries.
When we moved recently, I was shocked to discover that I am the proud owner of two doughnut pans. I didn’t even know I had one! Of course, I had to put them to work immediately. These strawberry doughnuts with cream cheese glaze were one of the first things I baked. Fresh strawberries are pureed and stirred right into the batter, and the finished doughnuts are showered with freeze-dried strawberry “sprinkles.” Needless to say, they were a bit hit with the toddler set.
